The Novohradské mountains are with its preserved landscape very unique. Their large-scale protection is ensured by the proclamation of a nature park. Some territories are included in the system of Natura 2000 ? Special Areas of Conservation and a large part of the Novohradské mountains was proclaimed within the scope of the system of Natura 2000 Special Protection Area. A small-scale protection is oriented only to protect alive nature. Except alive nature there are in the Novohradské mountains also significant places with elements of lifeless nature, which would also deserve the proclamation of a small-scale especially protected territory. The aim of my work was to choose the most interesting location with elements of lifeless nature ? cryogenic mesoforms and to decide about their typology of protection. After surveying some localities I have selected Kraví hora for which I have prepared a plan of care for the natural monument ? a proposal to publication. This work icludes also a brief physical-geographical characteristics of the interesting territory and the appendices in the form of maps and photographic images. |
