The transportation of the newborn is one of the performances, which involves high risks. The main effort is to transport the at risk newborn to the center, ?in utero? (in utero). This is a problem that paramedics may encounter with childbirth outside the hospitals, where they are sent to handle a birth and transport the newborn and the mother to a hospital facility. In this paper, involving a newborn´s transportation in the South Bohemian region from the perspective of paramedic, I deal with the organization and implementation of emergency services and transportation services for the newborn. I describe and classify transport service for the newborn. The important point is the resuscitation which is described in this paper. Paramedics often meet with the newborns on their job, so I also describe their education and psychosocial stress. |
