The theme of this thesis is the change of attitude of Czech society towards tattooing between the second half of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first is a theoretical division, in which tattoos and their social function are presented in a historical context, as well as the importance of tattoos in today's world and the ever-present phenomenon of stigmatization. The second part of the thesis is empirical, at the beginning of which the methodology of the research and data collection is described. Furthermore, the results themselves are presented, which are thematically divided according to individual categories according to which they were analyzed. The respondents' gender, age and socio-demographic situation were selected as criteria. At the end of the thesis a discussion of the results of the empirical part is presented, as well as the already existing academic knowledge, which was presented in the theoretical part. |
