This bachelor thesis deals with fire insurance. In the beginning, it attempts to map the most significant moments in the history and development of fire insurance since founding of the first mutual insurance company in Prague in 19th century, until the recent time. Second chapter in dedicated to the main subject and construction of the insurance, defining risks such as fire, explosion, lightning stroke and fall of a plane. It also defines inception, period of insurance, term of insurance, expiry of insurance, indemnity, place of the operation of insurance, interception of insurance etc. Main goal of the last part is the market analysis of general insurance products of five most significant insurance companies on the Czech market today -- Česká pojišťovna, Kooperativa, Allianz, Generali Pojišťovna and Česká podnikatelská pojišťovna. |
