The thesis deals with a change of social conditions in areas affected by a rapid building development in the outskirts of the capital city and around big towns. It describes new aspects of life quality in municipalities caused by the suburbanization; it addresses new development strategies of the municipalities and new functions that fall within schools' authority. The descriptive survey examines the current state of affairs with regard to the offer of community services, the function of school, negative effects connected with the suburbanization, etc. The main objective of the thesis is to answer the question: "What new school functions result from the citizen migration from city centres to city outskirts?" |
