The study also revealed that there is not a statistically significant difference in the attitude of men in the South Bohemian and Vysočina region to the testicular self-examination depending on age or the highest level of education. According to the questionnaire survey we also found out if men undergo preventive medical examination, whether they had been informed about the testical self-exam, if they examine themselves, or, where they get information about these issues. This thesis can be also used as a feedback for general practitioners and nurses working in the primary care because it gives them idea how much these men in the South Bohemian and Vysočina region are aware about testicular tumors and their prevention. |
