The topic of the diploma thesis is a foreign vocabulary of Czech language at the second stage of primary schools. The diploma thesis consists of two parts - a theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the author paid attention to the terms word, vocabulary, vocabulary enrichment. Furthermore, the author dealt with the adoption of words from foreign languages, she also focused on the spelling of words with foreign origin. Chapters on the pronunciation and declension of loanwords are also an important part of the thesis. The practical part consists of a questionnaire designed for secondary school students. Based on its analysis and subsequent evaluation, the extent of the respondents' knowledge of the loanwords will be determined, but also whether the pupils prefer to use Czech words or loanwords. |
