Popis:	The article focuses on the concept and principle of children’s favourite fairy tales. The cultural norms represented in fairy tales play an important role in the socialization processes of the child who reads them since they contain shared beliefs about gender roles and behaviour expectations. The author analyses the content of the most popular fairy tales and their psychological interpretations.
