V sklopu mednarodnega projekta INEA (International Network for Edible Aroids) smo analizirali 80 kultivarjev (akcesij) tara z namenom določiti vsebnost makro (Ca, K, Mg, P) in mikroelementov (Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu) in preveriti, ali obstajajo med posameznimi kultivarji statistično značilne razlike v vsebnosti posameznega elementa. Po ustrezni pripravi vzorcev kultivarjev (akcesij) smo koncentracije elementov določili z različnimi spektroskopskimi tehnikami. Rezultati analiz so pokazali, da se med makroelementi pojavlja največ kalija in najmanj kalcija, pri mikroelementih pa je bila določena najvišja vsebnost cinka in najnižja bakra. Rezultati so pokazali statistično značilne razlike med posameznimi kultivarji glede na vsebnost analiziranih elementov. In association with the International Network for Edible Aroids (INEA), corm samples of 80 different cultivars (accessions) of taro (Colocasia esculenta (L.) Schott) from Ghana were analyzed. The analyses involved the contents of macro (Ca, K, Mg, P) and micro- elements (Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu). The concentrations of these elements were determined by various spectroscopic techniques. The results showed that among macro-elements potassium had the highest concentration and calcium the lowest. On the other side, the most represented micro-element was zinc and the least represented was copper. Regarding contents of individual elements there were statistically significant differences between cultivars. |
