Namen raziskave je bil s pomočjo standardiziranega vprašalnika raziskati in prikazati prehranjevalne navade zaposlenih v Splošni bolnišnici Murska Sobota ter ugotoviti, v kolikšni meri znanje o zdravi prehrani vpliva na njihov življenjski slog in ali je način prehranjevanja povezan z zdravstvenim stanjem. Zanimali so nas njihovo poznavanje vegetarijanske prehrane in podatki o tem, v kolikšni meri se je poslužujejo. V magistrskem delu so prikazani posamezni dejavniki tveganja in njihov vpliv na zdravje med zaposlenimi v eni od slovenskih regionalnih bolnišnic. Metodologija raziskovanja Izvedli smo presečno pregledno populacijsko epidemiološko raziskavo, ki je bila narejena na vzorcu 279 zaposlenih v Splošni bolnišnici Murska Sobota. Raziskavo smo izvedli s prirejenim vprašalnikom CINDI »Z zdravjem povezan vedenjski slog«. Raziskava je temeljila na samoporočanju o njihovih prehranjevalnih navadah, življenjskem slogu in njihovem zdravju. Podatke smo analizirali z različnimi statističnimi metodami. Rezultati Ugotovili smo, da sta med zaposlenimi v Splošni bolnišnici Murska Sobota način prehranjevanja in življenjski slog povezana s stopnjo izobrazbe. 50 % zaposlenih pozna načela zdrave prehrane in jih v svoji prehrani tudi upošteva. Ugotovili smo, da je med zaposlenimi anketiranci 3,2 % vegetarijancev in da so razlike deležev vegetarijancev med stopnjami izobrazbe statistično značilne. Sklep Zdrava prehrana je pomemben del našega vsakdanjega in zdravega načina življenja. S pravilno načrtovano dnevno prehrano ne preprečujemo samo deficitarnih bolezni, temveč tudi ohranjamo zdravje oziroma preprečujemo obolevnost in prezgodnjo umrljivost. Z uravnoteženo prehrano lahko vplivamo tudi na boljšo moč in delovno storilnost. The purpose of this thesis is to research and present the dietary habits of the employees of the Splošna bolnišnica (General Hospital), Murska Sobota and discover both to what extent their knowledge of a healthy diet influences their lifestyles and whether their way of dieting is connected to their health conditions. We were interested in both their knowledge of vegetarian food and the extent of its use. This MA thesis presents individual risk factors and their influence on the health of the employees in one of the Slovene regional hospitals. Research Methodology We chose a cross sectional survey, which was carried out on a specimen of 277 emloyees in the Splošna bolnišnica (General Hospital), Murska Sobota. We used an adapted questionnaire by CINDI entitled »Z zdravjem povezan vedenjski slog« (»Health-related Lifestyle«). The research was based on self-reports about their dietary habits, lifestyles and their health. The data was analysed by means of different statistical methods. Results We found out that both the eating habits and the lifestyle among the employees in the Splošna bolnišnica (General Hospital), Murska Sobota are linked with their level of education. 50 % of the employees are familiar with the principles of a healthy diet and also follow them. We also found out that the percentage of vegetarians among the interviewees is 3.2 %. There are, however, statistically significant differences between the different levels of education. Conclusion A healthy diet is an important part of a normal, healthy lifestyle. Proper daily dietary planning does not only prevent individuals from malnutrition, but also preserves health and prevents disease and premature death. A balanced diet can also improve overall strength and working efficiency. |
