Podjetja nenehno iščejo načine za optimiziranje delovnih procesov, saj se vedno najdejo novi načini optimiranja. Konkurenca nikoli ne počiva, zato je konkurenčna prednost pred ostalimi podjetji izjemno pomembna za preživetje in rast podjetja. Ker skladiščenje samo po sebi ne prinaša prihodkov, po drugi strani pa mora zagotavljati zadostne količine zaloge za nemoteno delo v proizvodnji podjetja, se vse več govori o nižanju stroškov na področju skladiščenja. Čeprav je obravnavano podjetje že imelo utečen potek dela, se je vodstvo odločilo analizirati potek dela področja skladišča surovin od nabave surovin do njihove porabe. S konfiguracijo sistema za skladiščenje so zmanjšali obseg dela zaposlenih, zmanjšalo se je tudi število napak pri skladiščenju in vzdrževanju stanja zalog. Skladišče je postalo bolj urejeno, zaloge so se zmanjšale, a vseeno omogočajo nemoten potek dela soodvisnih oddelkov podjetja. Čeprav so se nekateri procesi upočasnili, predvsem proces komisioniranja blaga, so se zato razbremenili in pospešili ostali procesi, kar je na koncu pomenilo doseganje učinkovitejšega poslovanja podjetja. This is why competitive advantage in comparison to other companies is of extraordinary importance for the survival and growth of a company. Because storage on the one hand does not generate income by itself, but on the other hand has to provide sufficient amounts of stock for the undisturbed work in the company's production, there is more and more discussion on lowering storage costs. Despite the company already having an incorporated work process, the management decided to analyse the work process of raw material storage from the purchase of raw materials to their consumption. By configuring the warehouse management system the amount of work of employees, as well as the number of mistakes in storage and maintenance of stock has been decreased. The warehouse became tidier, and the amount of stock has been lowered, while still allowing the co-dependent departments of the company to continue working undisturbed. Despite some processes, especially the commissioning of goods, being slowed down, other processes have in turn become more disburdened and faster, which ultimately led to more efficient operations of the company. |
