Analiza obeh radijskih moderatorjev zajema retoriko, predvsem sredstva prepričevanja, in posamezne značilnosti nastopa, govora in jezika. Radijska moderatorja imata nekaj skupnih točk, in sicer uporabljata retorična sredstva prepričevanja, humor in določene diskurzne označevalce. Glavni razliki sta jezik, uporabljata namreč različni mestni govorici, in vključevanje neprimernih besed. The subject of the graduation thesis is the comparative analysis of speech and content of the performances of two radio moderators (Dejan Vedlin and Denis Avdić), both are employed at commercial radio stations (Radio City and Radio 1). Radio 1 is the most listened commercial radio in Slovenia in Maribor, the radio with the most listeners is Radio City. The analysis of both radio moderators consists of rhetoric, predominantly the means of persuasion as well as individual performance, speech and language characteristics. A content and speech analysis was performed based on recordings of morning programmes of both radio stations the differences and similarities between both radio moderators were put in the foreground. The radio moderators have a few common points - they both use rhetoric means of persuasion, humour and certain discourse markers. The main differences are found in language, they use different urban speech and include inappropriate words. Both radio moderators have different restrictions in preparing their programmes, most notably the target audience and type of radio station they are employed at. The results of the analysis can be useful as guideline for radio moderators and radio stations when preparing the programme because they highlight elements important for more effective communication between listeners and moderators.
