The study examines the impact of student work on the study of Slovenian students. Education enables and even encourages student work, but the final decision is made by the individual himself. While writing this thesis, we have discovered that the situation in student work, educational sistem and working market in Slovenia is critical, since the student work is being exploited. The main reason for this mather is status of a student fictitious entries are done and this is how the elongation of study occures, in order to continue working as a student. The educational sistem is producing graduate students with no working experiences what so ever, while there is a lack of enrollments in vocational schools and consequently, biger range of offer than demand. We have obtained the majority of the information from the Statistic Office of Slovenia, where the curent and past situation is shown in numbers.Based on these information we have compared trends, wich have clearly shown some key moments, as are the period of Jugoslavia, the indpendent Republic of Slovenia, entry into the European Union and the world crisis today. The research part of the thesis survey was conducted on the basis of which we have found that the majority of interviewees engaged student work and because of that acquired experience, knowledge, contacts, references, etc. Above all, douring the student work, they were able to see, whether they correspond to a particular job or not. |
