S pomočjo motivno-tematske analize posameznih proznih del smo analizirali medsebojne odnose literarnih likov odnos mati-sin, oče-sin, partnerski odnosi, prijateljski odnosi, odnosi do tujega odnos Slovencev do priseljencev, odnos priseljencev do Slovencev. Njihovi družinski odnosi so skrhani. In the thesis we focused on the theme of love and hate in the novels of contemporary Slovenian writer Goran Vojnovic. We chose the novels Cefurji Raus!, Yugoslavia, my Fatherland and Figa. The basic research question of the final work was how the themes of love and hate manifest themselves in the literary works listed above. As the starting point of the research we have taken relations, mutual relations and relations with the foreign - imagology, since a man is a social being who does not exist without connections with others and with the environment in which he lives. It is aided by emotions as the individual maintains a balance with them and with others and contributes to his better functioning. We were interested in the friendly, kinship and partnership relations of literary persons, as well as relations with the Other or the Foreign, as the writer Goran Vojnovič writes in his novels about immigration, war, homeland, immigrants, assimilation/non-assimilation, and thus opens interesting questions. We were interested in finding out whether stereotypes and prejudices related to immigrants appear in the novels with the theme of hatred, covertly or frankly, whether the novels show positive images of Foreign or Other through the eyes of immigrants and how the main protagonists of the novels cope with the negative reactions of their surroundings to their differentness. The theoretical basis of the final part includes the characteristics and typology of the contemporary Slovenian novel, a theoretical overview of mutual relations, imagology and an explanation of literary-theoretical concepts. On the basis of theoretical assumptions, we then analyzed the novels Cefurji raus!, Yugoslavia, my Fatherland, and Figa, which were chosen according to linguistic, thematic and substantive similarities and time differences. Through the motif-thematic analysis of individual prose works, we analyzed the interrelationships of literary characters mother-son, father-son relationships, partnerships, friendships, we also analyzed relationships to a foreign one attitude of Slovenians towards immigrants, attitude of immigrants towards Slovenians. In doing so, the thematizations of love and hatred are presented through theory and examples from novels. The novel Cefurji raus! is set in the time of independent Slovenia, while the novels Yugoslavia, my Fatherland and Figa describe a time before, during and after World War II. The protagonists in the novels discover their identity, search for their roots, their meaning, they want to find out who they are from. Their family relationships are broken. The protagonist of the novel Cefurji raus (teenager Marko) and Yugoslavia, my Fatherland (Vladan) grow up in an environment where they feel like foreigners and are treated as such by their surroundings. The protagonist of the novel Figa (Adriatic) is a grown man who already has a family, and explores his past in order to justify his actions and feelings. For a moment, he also feels that he belongs to no one. |
