V empiričnem delu so prikazani izsledki raziskave. Laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy (LSCH) is a minimally invasive endoscopic procedure, at which the uterus is removed, but the cervix preserved which leaves support to the pelvis floor. It is a minimally invasive alternative to abdominal hysterectomy and is suitable for informed patients, who will attend regular check-ups and cervical smear tests. The purpose of the bachelor's dissertation is to evaluate the quality of women's life after the laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy. The theoretic part describes the uterus and the endoscopic methods in gynaecology, as well as laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy (diagnostics, surgery requirements, indications, instruments and equipment in laparoscopy, surgical procedure, surgery advantages, and post-operative complications). The thesis continues with the description of the health care using the process work method and the model of evaluating the patient's needs according to the Marjory Gordon nursing diagnoses, for it provides an integrated and efficient patient treatment. The empiric part presents the survey results which have shown that compared to the pre-operative condition laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy undoubtedly improves the quality of women's life.
