V magistrskem delu Narečna poimenovanja za zdravilne rastline v izbranih prekmurskih govorih so zbrana narečna poimenovanja avtohtonih zdravilnih rastlin na Dolinskem in Goričkem, kjer se govorita prekmursko dolinsko in goričko podnarečje panonske narečne skupine. Narečna poimenovanja so bila pridobljena na terenu po vaseh Goričkega (Prosenjakovci, Vadarci, Šalovci) in Dolinskega (Velika Polana, Mala Polana, Žižki, Trnje, Črenšovci, Odranci, Srednja Bistrica) po vnaprej pripravljeni diaprojekciji slik zdravilnih rastlin. Zbrana poimenovanja so obravnavana z jezikoslovnega (besedotvorni, dialektološki, etimološki, frazeološki) in kulturološkega (etnološki, simbolni) vidika. S pomočjo preverb v Slovarju slovenskega knjižnega jezika in Pleteršnikovem slovarju smo osvetlili dokumentiranost in semantiko. The present Master's Thesis titled Dialectal Names for Medicinal Herbs in Chosen Speeches of Prekmurje examines dialectal names of autochthon medicinal herbs collected from Dolinsko and Goričko subdialect classified to Prekmurje dialect of the Pannonian dialect group. Dialectal names were collected by research in villages of Goričko (Prosenjakovci, Vadarci, Šalovci) and Dolinsko (Velika Polana, Mala Polana, Žižki, Trnje, Črenšovci, Odranci, Srednja Bistrica) via pre-prepared slide show of medicinal herbs. The gathered information is discussed from linguistic (word-formational, dialectological, etymological, phraseological) and cultural studies (ethnological, symbolical) viewpoint. We examined 123 medicinal herbs of which we gathered 326 dialectal names, most of which are derivatives. To facilitate the transparency of plant species, we classified them as specified in Mala flora Slovenije (Martinčič et. al. 1999), namely, by the plant family indicating grouped characteristics. By means of accessible literature, we researched the elements that could possibly influence the motivation of naming we referred to the available literature and etymological dictionaries. The emergence of some of the gathered dialectal names was developed due to the usability or properties of the plant, wherein, we learned from informants a lot about the usefulness of some plants in the past. Furthermore, we examined dictionaries such as Dictionary of Standard Slovene Language (sl. Slovar slovenskega knjižnega jezika) and Pleteršnik’s dictionary (sl. Pleteršnikov slovar) to emphasize the documentation and semantics of collected dialectal names. We examined the portion of gathered dialectal names that are loan words from border languages and which of those names are already documented in the existing literature. For a better understanding of the space, time and natural structure, we presented the research points from a geographical and historical viewpoint. The diverse history of Prekmurje shows the development of language over time, as indicated by the collected vocabulary taken from the border languages. Although the cultivation of medicinal herbs is not widespread in Prekmurje, since herbalists gather plants in nature, there are two herbal gardens located in Goričko for tours, namely the herb garden at the Korenika Farm in Šalovci and the Kocljevina Institute in Prosenjakovci. |
