Popis: Ocenjevanje in vrednotenje učbenikov za angleški jezik ni enostavna naloga. To vzame veliko časa in je dolgotrajen proces, ki pokaže resnične rezultate samo, kadar uporabljamo učbenik nato pa je morda prepozno. Magistrska naloga analizira in primerja dva učbenika – enega, ki ga je napisal angleški materni govornik, in enega, ki so ga napisali slovenski materni govorci. Osredotoča se na besedišče, saj je v zgodnji fazi pomembnejše od slovnice. Assessing and evaluating textbooks for English language teaching is not an easy task. It is a time consuming and lengthy process, which shows true results only when a textbook is in use and then it might be too late. The thesis analyses and compares two textbooks – one written by an English native speaker and one written by Slovene native speakers. The focus is on vocabulary, as at an early stage it is more important than grammar.
