V diplomski nalogi smo natančneje opredelili pojem cinizma, predvsem smo se osredotočili na policijski cinizem, ki po našem mnenju ovira policiste pri korektnem opravljanju svojega dela in v sodobnem času predstavlja velik problem. Na začetku smo definirali cinizem in ugotovili, da cinizem ni enodimenzionalen pojav, ampak ga lahko delimo na organizacijski cinizem in delovni cinizem. Tako smo se v nadaljevanju osredotočili na organizacijski cinizem in nato opisali še policijski cinizem. Ugotavljali smo vzroke, zakaj se policijski cinizem med policisti sploh pojavlja in pojasnili Schneiderjevo ASA teorijo ter Kanterjev koncept »homosocialne reprodukcije«, ki pojasnjujeta pojav cinizma in »policijske osebnosti«. V naslednjem poglavju diplomske naloge so predstavljene oblike policijskega cinizma in načini prilagajanja. Pod poglavjem pojavnosti cinizma med slovenskimi policisti je podana primerjava med raziskavo, ki jo je leta 2009 opravila Gorenakova, in sicer o stopnji cinizma med slovenskimi kriminalisti in raziskavo, ki sta jo leta 2005 opravila Lobnikar in Pagon. V svojo raziskavo sta vključila slovenske policiste in policijske menedžerje. Pri proučevanju članka, ki sta ga leta 2005 objavila Lobnikar in Pagon, smo ugotovili korelacijsko povezanost policijskega cinizma z drugimi dejavniki v policijski organizaciji. V diplomski nalogi smo obdelali še posledice policijskega cinizma in ukrepe za preprečevanje policijskega cinizma. Predstavili smo trinivojsko odpravljanje vzrokov policijskega cinizma, in sicer ukrepe na nivoju strateškega razvoja policije in filozofije policijskega dela, ukrepe na nivoju kadrovskega managementa ter ukrepe na nivoju moralnih vrednot in osebne odgovornosti. Na koncu smo opravili še razpravo, v kateri smo ovrgli oziroma potrdili hipoteze, ki smo si jih postavili na začetku. The thesis defines the concept of cynicism, in particular, it focuses on police cynicism, which hinders police officers to do their job correctly and it presents a big problem in modern times. Firstly, cynicism has been defined and it has been ascertained that it is not a one-dimensional phenomenon, but it can be divided into organizational cynicism and cynicism at work. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on organizational cynicism and it describes police cynicism. It determines the reasons why police cynicism occurs among police officers and explains Schneider's ASA theory and Kanter's concept of homosocial reproduction, which explain the phenomenon of cynicism and »police personality«. Next chapter presents various forms of police cynicism and ways of adapting. The chapter about cynicism among Slovenian police officers includes a comparison between the research conducted in 2009 by Gorenak about the level of cynicism among Slovenian criminalists and the research conducted in 2005 by Lobnikar and Pagon, who included Slovenian police officers and police managers into their research. When studying the article, published in 2005 by Lobnikar and Pagon, a correlation between police cynicism and other factors in police organization has been established. Finally, the thesis analyses the consequences of police cynicism and the measures to prevent police cynicism. We have presented three levels of eliminating the causes of police cynicism through measures at the level of the strategic development of the police and the philosophy of police work, measures at the level of human resource management and measures at the level of moral values and personal responsibility. In conclusion, a debate is presented, in which the hypotheses from the beginning of the thesis are refuted or confirmed. |
