To smo želeli ugotoviti s pomočjo anketnih vprašalnikov vzgojiteljev in testiranja otrok z motoričnimi testi. My diploma work is titled The kindergarten teacher's lifestyle and age in connection with kindergarten children's physical capability. The work is divided into two parts, the theoretical part and the empirical part. The theoretical part consists of chapters dealing with physical development, physical capability of children aged 5 to 7, kindergarten teacher's competence and the findings so far. The empirical part includes the purpose, the analysis, elaborate description of the thesis, the research methodology and the findings. The aim of the research was to find the connection between the kindergarten teacher's lifestyle and age and kindergarten children's physical capability in the teacher's group. Kindergarten teachers filled out the questionnaire and kindergarten children were tested with motorical tests. The research pattern was uncoincidental in a group of children aged from 5 to 6 including both genders. 14 motorical tests that measure children's physical capability were included in the research. It was found out that the kindergarten teacher's age does not influence children's physical capability as it has been anticipated. Meanwhile it was also proved that kindergarten teacher's free time sports activity does not affect children's physical capability.
