Raziskovalne metode: Uporabili smo kvalitativno metodologijo raziskovanja. Podatke smo zbrali s pol-strukturiranim intervjuji in jih vsebinsko opredelili. Pridobljene intervjuje smo obdelali in podatke opisno predstavili. Intervjuje smo izvedli z diplomiranimi medicinskimi sestrami v patronažnem varstvu. Potekali so anonimno, z možnostjo odklonitve. Basis and purpose: Dementia are a common illness in elderly people. From the obtained interviews, we found that they have good experience with dementia elderly, the most common obstacles are seen in non-cooperation with dementia elderly when the disease progresses. Discussion and conclusion: Home care nurses often encounter elderly people with dementia.
