Popis: Specimens, each measuring 4 x 6 in. of hard and soft lead, sheet copper, Muntz metal and Monel, were exposed at two sites in the Halifax area, Montreal, Ottawa, Saskatoon, Norman Wells, Esquimalt and Trail. A number of specimens of each type were removed after periods of one, two, five and ten years for examination. The report describes the test sites, the testing prodedures and discusses the metal losses, their corrosion rates and the effect of environmental factors on these rates. Figures are included which show the loss of metal with time of exposure.
