Popis:	This paper describes investigation of the chemical method for the determination of the amount of hydrocarbon in lacquer thinners. As hydrocarbons are relatively inexpensive an accurate method is required for controlling their content in lacquer thinners. The chemical method was developed because many paint laboratories do not have the complex instruments necessary for physical measurement of solvent composition.
