Popis: Specimens of three different aluminum alloys rivetted galvanic couples of 3S alloy to mild steel, zinc and copper, two magnesium alloys, three steel alloys, three stainless steels and rolled zinc were exposed at two sites in the Halifax area, Montreal, Ottawa, Saskatoon, Norman Wells, Esquimalt and Trail. A number of specimens of each type were removed after exposure periods of one, two, five and ten years for examination. The report describes the test sites, the testing procedures, cleaning of specimens and discusses the metal losses, their corrosion rates and the effect of certain environmental factors on these rates.
