Popis: | Results of air quality measurements are presented for a group of low-leakage houses located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Houses were tested for formaldehyde, nitrogen dioxide, radon, and humidity levels. The median level of formaldehyde was 0.09 ppm, slightly lower than the guideline of 0.1 ppm. Elevated levels of formaldehyde (>50 ppb). Those houses lacking a mechanical ventilation system had considerably higher incidences of elevated formaldehyde concentrations than those incorporating mechanical ventilation. Trans.
