Popis: SAFIR is a special purpose computer program for the analysis of structures under ambient and elevated temperature conditions. The program, which is based on the Finite Element Method (FEM), can be used to study the behaviour of one, two and three-dimensional structures. The program (SAFIR) was developed at the University of Liège, Belgium, and is today viewed as the second generation of structural fire codesdeveloped in Liège, the first generation being another computer program called Computer Engineering of the Fire design of Composite and Steel Structures (CEFICOSS).
