Popis: | Open-plan offices in North America are characterized by modular systems furniture in a grid layout, often in a building with a deep floor plate that leaves many occupants far from a window or daylight access. Individuals occupy cubicles with boundaries of varying heights, from no panel up to almost ceiling height. Such offices are ubiquitous, forming 60% of North American offices, but are generally unpopular with occupants. Lux Europa 2005, September 19, 2005, Berlin, Germany |
