Purpose: this reports presents an analysis of the contemporary demand response (DR) programs and solutions, already applied at European and Worldwide level. The document is divided into two main parts: the first one characterizes the DR programs from the point of view of the most relevant aspects found in literature: programs classification, ICT and business model. While, the second part provides an overview of the current DR programs at European and Worldwide levels. The overview reports and analyse efficient DR programs. The DR status in the pilot countries is described and recommendations are provided for design and implementation of the DR programs based on the previous findings. The analysis is intentionally focused on DR programs aspects related to residential building peer-reviewed |
