Este artículo plantea una radiografía sobre el fenómeno de los festivales en un ámbito territorial de fuertes contrastes tanto demográficos como en nivel de desarrollo en la provincia de Castellón. El objetivo es, pues, observar las posibles implicaciones que puede tener la distribución de eventos culturales característicos de la actualidad como son los festivales en las áreas rurales del territorio. Así, nos preguntamos sobre las tendencias en cuanto a festivales culturales en la zona y cuáles son los ámbitos artísticos más programados. Pero también se tratará de observar la naturaleza más comercial o social de los festivales culturales. Con estas y otras variables registradas sobre los festivales, abordaremos la incidencia que pueden tener dichos festivales sobre la sostenibilidad de los territorios más vulnerables. Para ello se ha llevado a cabo un trabajo de búsqueda de información sobre los festivales culturales celebrados durante el año 2018 en la provincia de Castellón, registrando 152 festivales. This article presents a radiography of the phenomenon of festivals in a territorial area of strong contrasts both demographic and about the level of development: the province of Castellón. The objective is, therefore, to observe the possible implications that the distribution of current characteristic cultural events such as festivals with the emphasis placed on the rural areas of the territory may have. Thus, we wonder about the trends in terms of cultural festivals in the area and what are the most scheduled artistic fields. But it will also try to observe the more commercial or social nature of cultural festivals. With these and other variables recorded on the festivals, we will address the impact that these festivals may have on the sustainability of vulnerable territories. To this end, a search for information has been carried out on cultural festivals held during 2018 in the province of Castellón, registering 152 festivals. |
