Popis: This study documents students' perceptions of the relevance of mathematics, one dimension of the appreciation for the subject. The study also suggests ways of teaching mathematics to make the subject more relevant. The study is based on the assumption that when students see the relevance of mathematics, eventually they might have a better appreciation for the subject's role in their life and hence foster life-long learning.
