The cluster’s The Researches for the Identity of Lithuanian Art and Cultural Heritage activity in 2012 was based on several main themes: the researches for Lithuanian architectural history, architectural conservation, sacred art, Lithuanian art history of the XX th century. The scientists in the cluster were mainly involved in the theoretics and practical researches for architectural and sacred art heritage, interdisciplinary studies for history of masonry in Lithuania, innovative sparing attitude towards cultural heritage and evaluation of architectural restoration in the context of the contemporary attitudes towards authenticity. The results of the cluster’s scientists’ activity are constantly publicized in the monographs, science journals and magazines, introduced during various scientific conferences. The relevance of the cluster’s activity is confirmed by various scientific projects financially approved by Science Council of Lithuania. |
