| Popis: | Among the parameters that specify a radio astronomy receiver, two of them take particular importance: Effective Noise Temperature and Gain Stability. The Effective Noise Temperature (ENT) is determined by the receiver's input stages noise contribution: feeder and low noise amplifiers. It also determines the receiver's sensitivity. Gain Stability, unlike the ENT, is affected by the inherent stability of the whole receiver's stages.
