Popis: Purpose - Street sexual harassment is a daily and invisible cultural practice that directly affects women, and their relationship with how they live in the city. The purpose of this project is to help facilitate the process of collecting quantitative information relevant to the eradication of the underreporting of data that is currently presented in the city on this issue. In order to contribute to denaturalize this practice and implement successful measurement processes for the formulation of public policies. Design/methodology/approach - A questionnaire form was designed in conjunction with the undersecretary of gender equity in the city where the relevant variables to be measured were defined. Then, their appearance was formally validated, which is intended to attract the attention of women passersby on the street, this with three different prototypes until the expected result is obtained, this is how “La Centinela del Acoso” is proposed. Tests were carried out with “La Centinela del Acoso” in semi-public and public spaces, on different days to validate interactions with women and the data collected from them. Findings - It was found that women are really interested in the subject, since they responded to a greater extent to the proposals made with a higher rate of acceptance and willingness to participate. On the other hand, “La Centinela del Acoso” is considered as a viable and feasible alternative for the parent company as a means of obtaining quantitative information from a primary source.
