Popis: | Američki nogomet je vrlo dinamičan i najpopularniji sport na američkom kontinentu. Sveučilišni američki nogomet je vrlo rasprostranjen te osim profesionalne Nacionalne lige američkog nogometa (engl. National Football League – NFL) postoji čitav sustav natjecanja na srednjoškolskoj i sveučilišnoj razini. U ovom preglednom radu posebna je pozornost pridodana najučestalijim ozljedama u američkom nogometu, njihovu mehanizmu nastanka te mogućnosti primjene ovih saznanja na unapređenje hrvatskog sporta i zdravlja sportaša. American football is the most popular sport in North America. College football is widespread, and in addition to the professional National Football League (NFL), there is also a complex system of competition at the high school and college level. In this review article the special attention is addressed to the most common injuries in American football, the mechanisms of its origin and least but not less important how those informations are helpful for Croatian sport and health of our athletes. |
