The dissertation focuses on three publications on hepatotropic viruses. The first focuses on harnessing the NGS technology to analyse the evolutionary dynamics of HBV quasispecies response to therapy with an amphipathic DNA polymer (REP 2139) in chronic HBV patients. The second covers the sequence and phylogenetic analysis of HDV sequences. The third covers the creation of Hepatitis Delta Virus database. Die Dissertation befasst sich auf drei Publikationen über hepatotrope Viren. Die erste konzentriert sich auf Analyse der evolutionären Dynamik von HBV-Quasis-Spezies während der antiviralen Therapie mit einem amphipathischen DNA Polymer (REP 2139) bei chronischer Hepatitis B-Patienten.
