Popis: | This issue contains some of the results of the 1912 Agricultural Survey commissioned by the Lands Committee of the Commission of Conservation, as well as articles on British emigration, and summer occupations for students. Agricultural articles pertain to horse breeding in Ontario, and what stock to use for plum trees. While the poultry articles address how to achieve profitability with Barred Plymouth Rocks, and the poultry industry in British Columbia. Campus news highlights the success of the Conversazione. Other news includes praise for the 1913 Conversat Committee, the theatre production of The Private Secretary, the Literary Society debates, and suggestions for success in studying for exams. The Athletics column reports the results of the teams in the sports of basketball, baseball, aquatics, and hockey. The Macdonald column contains an observation on traveling on the Guelph street cars, and biographies of the newly elected presidents for the Macdonald Athletic Society, Macdonald Literary Society, Y.
