This study was conducted to evaluate the performance of six chemical treatments when applied to creeping bentgrass in a golf fairway setting in efforts to control fusarium path disease. Low levels of injury were observed at the beginning of the trial left from the winter. Slight phytotoxicity levels were observed on 04 May, 10 May, and 18 May, resulting from the PC Turf Product #1. 04 May showed Turf Product #1 with 7.5% significant suppression of injury when it was compared to the control plot. Overall a greater pressure of disease would have allowed for a more precise assessment of the experiential chemical treatment. Petro Canada |
