Popis: This study is concerned with developing the capability to predict and characterize the downward percolation of agrochemicals (e.g. nutrients, pesticides) through the soil profile, taking into account spatial and temporal variability, water and solute transport mechanisms, agrochemical transformation and degradation processes, weather patterns, and crop management. Funding for this study was provided by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada through the Preservation Program of the Great Lakes Action Plan, and through the National Soil Conservation Program, under Federal-Provincial Agreements on Soil and Water Conservation and Development in Ontario.
