| Popis: | Dissertação de Mestrado (Ciclo de Estudos Integrados Conducentes ao Grau de Mestre em Arquitetura - Área de Cultura Arquitetónica) Os objetos de estudo da dissertação são as antigas Casas de Guarda Florestal existentes na área do Parque Nacional da Peneda-Gerês. Estas construções são o símbolo da presença dos serviços Florestais do Estado, em pleno regime de ditadura (Estado Novo) que serviram de abrigo a guardas-florestais responsáveis por determinadas áreas no perímetro florestal das quatro serras que compõem o Parque, a serra da Peneda, Soajo, Amarela e Gerês. Incidindo o trabalho sobre obras arquitetónicas do século XX, visa-se aqui reconhecer a importância arquitetónica deste património no contexto cultural da sua formalização, enquadrandoo no panorama da produção rural do Estado Novo em Portugal. A partir da pesquisa de informação documental e com a realização do levantamento esquemático e fotográfico será possível formar uma narrativa sobre os objetos de estudo. Assim sendo, com o intuito de preservar a memória destas casas abrigo na contemporaneidade, pretende- se interpretar o material construído e identificar o papel das casas florestais no período em que se inseriu. Através dessa análise aprofundada, pretende-se refletir acerca do seu valor, e no estudo das possibilidades de preservação. Por fim, considerando a história e valor arquitetónico destas casas, pretende-se que o documento reclame o lugar destes objetos entre os bens patrimoniais de uma época. The objects of study of the dissertation are the old Forest Guard Houses in the area of the Peneda-Gerês National Park. These buildings are the symbol of the presence of the State Forest Services, in full dictatorship (Estado Novo) that served as shelter to forest guards responsible for certain areas in the forest perimeter of the four mountains that make up the Park, the mountains of Peneda, Soajo, Amarela and Gerês. Focusing the research on architectural works of the twentieth century, it aims to recognize the architectural importance of this heritage in the cultural context of its formalization, fitting it in the panorama of rural production of the Estado Novo in Portugal. From the research of documentary information and with the realization of the schematic and photographic survey it will be possible to form a narrative about the objects of study. Thus, in order to preserve the memory of these houses shelter in the contemporaneity, it is intended to interpret the built object and identify the role of forest houses in the period in which it was inserted. Through this in-depth analysis, it is intended to reflect on its value, and in the study of preservation possibilities. Finally, considering the history and architectural value of these houses, it is intended that the document claims the place of these objects among the patrimonial assets of an era. |
