This thesis will address decision-making processes in welfare change programs in Denmark in the twenty-first century. The main focus is how decisions are made in welfare programs that are popular in the public. In relation to change these highly popular supported programs players can find it necessary to attempt to change the public’s attitudes towards the welfare programs. The early retirement system can be seen as a highly supported welfare program, and at the same time a program that many especially economic players seek to change as to its cost for the state. Therefore the thesis will examine how players try to influence attitudes towards the early retirement system. |
