Popis: Both doped and undoped W single crystals exhibit hardness anisotropy with respect to the direction of testing in each of the crystallographic planes investigated. The hardness anisotropy of undoped, single-crystal W is rather pronounced in the {001} and {110} planes but very minor in the {111} planes. The anisotropy in {122} planes of the doped and drawn W after recrystn. is in accordance with a previously published concept of a stringlike distribution of the doping material in the metal (Rieck 1961). 16 references.
