Popis: The MENA region is crucial for furthering global peace stability. Land issues are central to conflicts in the region – both locally and at cross-border levels. Consequently, land administration systems in MENA countries demand attention. A proven strategy for enabling system renewal is via regional collaborative networks of land sector actors. The work underpinning this paper - undertaken in Egypt, Lebanon, and the Palestine Territories - shows that despite ongoing instability and post-conflict contexts, and clear differences between national land administration systems, there are many common land administration problems and opportunities. Moreover, there is observable good will from land sector managers and land administrators; good will that can be built upon and supported by the global land community – to support the delivery of more effective land administration systems, and land tenure security in the region.
