The application of crop-livestock has been implemented in the "Lorejo" farmers group at Moyudan, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The problem of the farmer is the low quality of feed and their manure not use. Activities are production feed training from rice straw with fermentation technic, fertilizer production training, and vegetable cultivation. This activity was followed by ten of the housewife. The identification showed that the farmers have a 2200 m2 field and 450 m2 yard. The cattle feed was a rice straw with the availability of 6,8 ton/DM/farmer. Availability of manure reaches 3,8 tons/year, but the farmers did not process and used it. The training resulted that the ability to feed fermentation from rice straw reaches 200 kg/day/farmer, and organic fertilizer reaches 280 kg/day/farmer. Rice straw fermentation can reduce crude fiber from 32,8% to 26,6%. The result of chili production using manure (110 days) reaches 0,38 kg per tree, while eggplant production reaches 4,2 kg per tree. Evaluation of the training implementation as much as 90% stated that community service programs provided benefits. Eighty percent of participants had understood the training substances. The conclusion of this program is to increase the quality of feed, the manure, and the diversity of vegetables. Abstrak Penerapan integrasi tanaman ternak telah dilaksanakan di Kelompok ternak sapi potong “Lorejo”, Kecamatan Moyudan, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah kualitas pakan yang rendah dan pupuk yang dihasilkan belum dimanfaatkan. Kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi pelatihan fermentasi jerami, pembuatan pupuk organik dan budidaya tanaman sayuran. Peserta adalah ibu rumah tangga peternak sebanyak 10 orang. Hasil identifikasi menunjukkan rata-rata peternak mempunyai lahan sawah garapan 2200 m2, lahan pekarangan 450 m2. Pakan sapi potong berupa jerami padi dengan potensi ketersediaan 6,8 ton/BK/peternak. Ketersediaan pupuk kandang mencapai 3,8 ton/tahun. Peternak belum mengolah pupuk kandang dan memanfaatkannya untuk budidaya tanaman sayuran. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan membuat jerami terfermentasi mencapai 200 kg/HKO dan pupuk organik mencapai 280 kg/HKO. Fermentasi jerami padi mampu menurunkan kadar serat kasar dari 32,8% menjadi 26,6%. Produksi tanaman cabai dengan media tanam pupuk kandang pada umur 110 hari mencapai 0,38 kg/batang dan terong 4,2 kg/batang. Hasil evaluasi pelatihan menunjukkan 90% peserta menyatakan kegiatan tersebut memberikan manfaat dan 10% menyatakan tidak tahu serta 80% peserta menyatakan memahami materi pelatihan. Disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan yang dilakukan mampu meningkatkan kualitas pakan, memperbaiki kualitas pupuk dan meningkatkan keragaman sayuran. |
