Generation Z sharia investment decision patterns: is information media important as moderation?

Popis: Purpose – This research looks at the relationship pattern of information quality, subjective norms, behavioral control in Generation Z Sharia investment decisions during the Covid-19 era, and media information can strengthen or vice versa. Methodology – Quantitative in this study using SmartPLS 3.0. Primary data was collected from investor respondents during the Covid-19 pandemic from December 2021 to December 2022. The collection uses Google Form access, and the indicator measurement is the Likert Scale. Findings – Information quality and control behavior have a pattern of positive relationship to Islamic investment decision-making in Generation Z in the Covid-19 era. Subjective norms have a negative relationship pattern to Sharia investment decision-making in Generation Z in the Covid-19 era. Information media influences the influence of information quality, subjective norms, and behavioral control on Islamic investment decision-making in Generation Z in the Covid-19 era. Implication – This research has been disclosed to investors as a basis for planning and implementing Sharia investment programs and strategies that are more effective and sustainable. Originality – The study offers an alternative perspective with a focus on the scope of Islamic investment decisions by Generation Z, which is a unique group in terms of characteristics, preferences, and behavior as well as in conditions of economic shocks, namely during the Covid-19 period and the role of information media as significant rapid access to information through digital media, and using a model that is PLS-SEM.
