| Popis: | This study aims to determine the increase in learning outcomes of shot put orthodox style through a scientific approach and modified media in class XII high school students. The method of this research was classroom action research and the subjects of this research were class XII students of SMA 3 Negeri Medan, consisting of 40 students, 18 male students and 22 female students. The instrument used in this study was an assessment sheet of the shot put process. To obtain the data in this study, based on the results of the initial data in class XII students of SMA Negeri 3 Medan. Of the 40 students, there were 32 students (80%) who did not complete and 8 students (20%) who had achieved a complete level of learning with an average score of 61.04 student learning outcomes. The results of the first cycle there were 22 students (55%) who did not complete and 18 students (45%) of the 40 students who had reached the level of mastery learning with an average score of 69.4 student learning outcomes. In cycle II there were 6 students (15%) who did not complete and 34 students (85%) of the 40 students who had achieved a mastery level with an average score of 82.7. This means that classical learning mastery (≥85%) has been achieved. The conclusion of this study is that through a scientific approach and modified media can improve the learning outcomes of shot put orthodox style for high school students in class XII students |
