Teaching a general-education class is very important for the International Student Center on these three points: (1)Contribution to general education as a teaching staff of Yokohama National University, (2)Stimulating reflection to her/his own research, (3)Promotion of inter-cultural communication between international students and Japanese students. The International Student Center started to make a lecture of general education, 'Inter-cultural Communication', from spring term of 1995. This paper reports an outline of this lecture, the expectation and comments of the students to this class, and one class discussing the relation between honorific and Japanese society. |
