Popis: Elder abuse is one of the most serious problems in human rights as well as child abuse, and also an urgent and important problem that sometimes threatens his and her lives. In this study, we considered the approach and its issues of care working with a female abused victim (T), age 95, in a day-service center who has a senile dementia and a heart trouble. She has lived with her granddaughter's family, and suffered from physical neglect, financial exploitation, psychological or emotional neglect and abuse, and direct physical abuse by her which are based on Sengstock and Barrett's classification definition of abuse. The results of the approach are as follows ; 1. She has gradually gained her improvement of interpersonal relationships and reduced her symptoms due to physical and emotional neglects : delusion of persecution and obsessive behavior. 2. Only the decrease of abuser (A)'s burden of nursing care with T couldn't prevent her abuse. 3. To prevent abuse is needed an individual clinical counseling with an abuser and a victim.
