Popis: The expansion of gas molecules into vacuum ejected in a finite period is investigated on the basis of the collisionless Boltzmann equation. It is shown that the cloud of molecules diffuses into space advancing with mass velocity and that the distribution of density is fairly deformed by individual mass velocity.
