Popis:	A practical table to identify subgenus and species of genus Dacus (Diptera: Tephritidae) from the Ryukyu Isles are provided. The species listed here are 8 known species, Dacus (Bactrocera) dorsalis, D. (B.) hyalinus, D. (Tetradacus) tsuneonis, D. (Zeugodacus) cucurbitae, D. (Z.) scutellatus, D. (Z.) ishigakiensis, D. (Paratridacus) expandens, D. (Paradacus) depressus, 2 unknown species, D. (Bactrocera) sp. and D. (Zeugodacus) sp., and one rediscovered species, D. (Gymnodacus) kuniyoshii which was described by Shiraki(1968).
