The dyeing properties of cherry leaves from summer, fall, winter and spring were investigated. Dyeing of silk was carried out through mordant dyeing using several mordants. The dyeability of leaves from each season showed significant differences. Especially red coloring from fall leaves provided better dyeability. The effects of repeat dyeing were very distinct and increased dyeing depth. Dyeing properties were investigated with a spectra color meter. |
