Popis: The polyhedrons have a structure with regularity and evenness, and are expected to be adoptable to architectures. To clarify the characteristics of the polyhedron structure, this study focuses on truncated octahedron model and investigates its redundancy using sensitivity analysis. Following observations are obtained from the sensitivity analysis on redundancy. Unlike the Frame structure model and the truss structure model, elements with high redundancy and low redundancy are dispersed within the structure of truncated octahedron model. It is confirmed that the change of thickness of the member does not give a remarkable effects to the redundancy of the truncated octahedron model.
